Tesla Motors is an American company that has been producing premium electric cars since 2008. Unlike other major automobile manufacturers, Tesla’s product line is dedicated exclusively to pure electric vehicles, and solar energy production and storage. This allows it to focus its energy and resources on solutions that allow for a more rapid transition from fossil fuel to renewables.
Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
Tesla Chairman Elon Musk’s Master Plan describes a strategy that goes something like this: 1) build a high performance sports car (get the world’s attention), 2) build a luxury sedan and SUV (deliver cars that beat those from entrenched players), and 3) build affordable, mass-market vehicles (riding on the halo of the preceding models).
Judging from Tesla’s accomplishments since 2008, it’s made fabulous, unbelievable progress. After all, we’re talking about a company that is a baby in the midst of automotive giants in the US and abroad. Tesla has changed the conversation – consumers are now more aware of the benefits and advantages of the electric car and are buying. It helps that youtube is filled with the Model S and Model X out running supercars, and enthusiasts and fanatics (like us) endorsing and sharing the merits of Tesla’s vehicles.
Importantly, Tesla is influencing a step change in the vehicle offerings from other manufacturers. Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, and others all tout future electric product lines and ‘Tesla killers’. Manufacturers like NISSAN, BMW, GM, and Kia are riding the electrification wave that Tesla created and, are contributing heavily to the electrification of transportation.
Tesla’s dedication to its mission is so firm and determined that it has even opened up its patent portfolio to other manufacturers in order to stimulate the investment and innovation that are needed to escalate the transition to sustainable transportation.

Are we Tesla fans? Absolutely!!! While our first EV was a 2011 Nissan LEAF, we upgraded to a P85+ Model S in 2014. We added a 90D Model X in 2016. In 2017, we added a 2011 Roadster Sport, a car that we will be using to add spice to our EV shows. We have extensive experience with Tesla vehicles and are happy to share our cars and experience with you.
