Pardon me if redundant – If you’re interested in a Model S or Model X in the 75D configuration, you have until Sunday to place your order. Tesla will be removing the option so the next option is the 100D battery configuration. This will offer more range and will also cost more.
Per the latest Tesla:
The Model X 100D is advertised with a 295 mile range and starts at around $97k. (Model S 75D has a 237 mile range and starts at $82k.) Model S order page.
The Model 100D has a 335 mile range and starts around $94k. (Model S 75D has a 259 mile range. It starts at $76k.) Model X order page.
The 75D configurations are adequate for our island. Of course, we recommend getting the most capacity that you can afford. Tesla also offers a 3-day return policy (after delivery), if you purchase without having test-driven the car.
If you decide to place an order on these cars (or the Model 3), remember to include a referral code from an existing Tesla owner. Our referral code is: “http://ts.la/stephanie4386“.
