This year’s National Drive Electric Week celebrations will be done online, through a couple of webinars that will be held via ZOOM. The first will be held on September 26, from 9-11 AM. It will cover the basics of buying and owning an electric vehicle. This event will include EV Dealer presentations, a panel discussion with local EV owners, and presentations on Buying Tips, Charging, and EV Benefits.

The second one will be held on October 3, from 9-11 AM and will cover EV trends, including cars that we can expect in Hawaii, and a panel discussion with local leaders who will discuss what’s being done to encourage our transition away from fossil fuel vehicles.

National Drive Electric Week is an annual event that is sponsored by Plug In America, Sierra Club, and Electric Auto Association. It is a nation-wide celebration to raise awareness of the benefits of electric vehicles. Visit driveelectricweek.org for more information.
