National Drive Electric Week is coming!
This annual event is a celebration of all-electric and plug-in hybrid electric transportation. The Big Island Electric Vehicle Association has hosted events each year to celebrate. These have allowed our community to grow and helped to get more electric cars on our roads. This year, we will be hosting two events – one in Waimea on September 14, and another in Hilo, on September 21.
If you are an electric vehicle owner – join us. The more cars we have on the display, the better – it will be a simple way to demonstrate how big our community has grown and the variety of cars that are available today.
If you’re considering buying one or are curious, join us to get your questions answered and check out the variety of electric cars available. Come and learn how much fun they to drive, how they are less expensive to operate and maintain compared to traditional cars, how they reduce our dependency on imported oil, and how they are better for our environment.
RSVP and complete a short survey and get a chance to win $250 (from the national organizers). Click on the links below to register.
