The BIEVA helped to electrify the Pahoa Christmas Parade. A small group of members brought a few EVs (Kia Soul, Nissan LEAF, Tesla Model S, and Tesla Roadster) to the event. The weather was fine, the air was festive and there were several community groups in attendance. The event provided the community still reeling from the recent Kilauea eruption with a welcome change of scenery. We had a lot of fun especially with the local circus behind us.

Thanks to Emily Ebert (BIEVA Treasurer) for coordinating our participation and for helping us with decor. Kudos to Emily, Stephanie Hall-Morin, Lorn Douglas, and Ed Gutierrez for making our first parade event a success. Here are a few images from the event.
