Today, the House Ways and Means Committee introduced a bill calling for the repeal of the $7500 Federal EV Tax Credit, effective the end of this year.

This is not totally unexpected but we must express our disagreement with the proposal. While this industry will ultimately not have to rely on incentives to sustain itself, these are still critical at this point in time. A repeal (particularly a sudden one) will dampen the demand for EVs and can have a negative impact to adoption.

Please share your sentiment with our representatives in Congress – ask that they leave the credit alone.
